"The best value for your money. Excellent product."
Version: Enterprise Architect 6.1
Pros
Code import/generation and sequence diagrams are perfect.

""You Get" Far More "Than You Pay For""
Version: Enterprise Architect 5.00.772
Pros
This product is a quite complete UML 2.0 tool, for an excellent price. This is the tool I used to learn UML, and it's the tool I use for UML modeling. I recommend it frequently.
My mouth actually watered when I read about the features of their forthcoming 6.0 release (in beta now).
Cons
The UI is sometimes referred to by users as the "Unique Interface". I couldn't do any better, but I wish someone would.

"This product is so easy to use. No more ivory tower comments from other groups."
Version: Enterprise Architect 5.00.766
Pros
1. Easy to use and great help files.
2. Very good selection of code generation abilities.
3. Good documentation abilities.
4. Competes with other packages at a fraction of the cost.
Cons
1. Would be nice if they added a .pdf printer to the package.

"A very complete UML case tool"
Version: Enterprise Architect 4.51.748
Pros
EA covers the full UML spec and adds some other diagram types for requirements and business modelling. It has a very user friendly GUI and supports different databases for model storage. The license costs are inexpensive for such a powerful case tool.

"This thing rocks!"
Version: Enterprise Architect 4.51.748
Pros
GREAT price for the features. Very functional user interface. Seamless integration with VS.NET (via MDG Link). Rich in features. It's what made me a convert to UML.
Cons
Documentation is less detailed than I'd like to see, especially for users new to UML. Tutorials are limited in scope, and would like to see more detailed sample models, for those of us who learn by example.

"Allround UML tool with full Enterprise features"
Version: Enterprise Architect 4.51.748
Pros
This product is first of all very cheap in comparison to the load of features it has. The product is stable, offers a lot of full Enterprise features (version control, requirements management, RTF and HTML documentation) and a complete open access to the raw data. The repository (you can choose your own flavor of database!) is readable and accessible directly and there's also a automation interface which allows to write plug-ins.
The product is created by a highly responsive team (Sparx Systems), creating new feature and bug fix releases every month or faster, without compromising the stability or backwards compatibility of the product. For more information look at their site and specifically their forum.

"Stunning"
Version: Enterprise Architect 4.51.748
Pros
This product is just stunning for the price it is being offered at. Forget all the other "enterprise-grade" tools from Rational, Embarcadero, Quest and the like. This tool has many, MANY more features. It aspires to be the hub of the development lifecycle, with full project, document and model management - and it manages to do this while also being an EXCELLENT tool in the toolkit of any professional developer.
This tool isn't just for developers, it also has tons of functionality for business analyst, project managers, requirements specialists, technical writers, you name it. Try this - you will NOT be disappointed.
(Hint - also buy the $49 Zicom Mentor courseware offered on Sparx' webpage. It will get you kickstarted with UML and OOA/D "thinking", and equally well introduce you this specific tool).
