"Once you figure it out... it works great"
Version: Enigmail 1.4.5
1. Learn how encryption works and appreciate monotype fonts (eventually...)
2. No one (including yourself) will ever be able to read encrypted emails without the key
3. Very easy key management takes place mostly behind the scenes once you get a "circle of trust" started.
1. You have to also download/install another program, whose documentation is nearly incomprehensible, in order to use this
2. You have to be able to make sense of PKI terminology
3. Geekiness and/or paranoia is a must, otherwise you probably won't stick with this.
Unless you're already an old-school Radio Shack type tech geek, you will probably have a difficult time figuring out Enigmail. But once you do, rest secure in the knowledge that your encrypted emails are indecipherable to prying eyes for the next thousand years or so.

"I have not used this yet"

If it works I would use it.
A more comprehensive explanation is required
