Despite intriguing gameplay, End of Atlantis's low-dollar design and small feature set help to keep it a so-so choice. The goal of the game is to move as many of your clan as possible off the sinking city of Atlantis. Not only must you be wary of foes such as octopuses and sharks, you also must try to prevent your computer opponents from moving their players. The graphics are no better than average with their tiny rendering of the tribe members, and the sound effects can be harsh and grating. You can turn the audio off, but the demo disables the few other customization options that are available in the full version, including the ability to play on different maps. Fans of logic and strategy games might find that End of Atlantis's concept outweighs its flaws, but more casual gamers can probably skip it.

Atlantis is sinking beneath the waves and the only hope of your tribe surviving is to make it to the distant coral islands. Take control of the boats or take a risk and swim for it, but be careful as there are sea monsters, octopuses, and sharks in the water. But maybe you'll get lucky and hitch a ride on a friendly dolphin. Version 2 includes unspecified updates.
