fast setup and good customization options

Nothing - good product for a fair price.
Summary
While the Mac does a full backup using Time Machine, it is nice to have a redundant backup of some important files in case the Time Machine files get corrupted, etc. Program lets you set when and where to backup and also how many backups to save. Highly recommended.

Yes, you could copy your mail folder, but Email backup Pro does more than that. Read the info from the site and you'll find it to be an indispensable piece of software, as I have. -

been testing for a client that needs a backup solution for their Entourage OS X Macs and at $10 per seat, this sfw. seems pretty good.
backs up contacts AND emails, which is very useful
Would be a great feature to be able to have Entourage open while the backup took place
(currently Entourage is forced to quit by the backup program before backup takes place, but to the author's credit, an option is available to re-open Entourage AFTER the backup has been completed
Hopefully, we will see that in a future version
Tested a full backup and restore and worked well using leopard and Office 2004
