"A great editor for programmers"
Version: EditPad Pro 7.0.4
Pros
It has done everything I've asked of it and never failed. I've had many editors in the past 50 years and this is as good as the best of them.
Cons
Nothing serious. I'm just not too into regular expressions.
Summary
What more can I say? For anyone who can stand the complexity this is the editor of choice.

"The only editor I use since I tried it."
Version: EditPad Pro 6.6.4
Pros
Has special features for programmers, such as custom colors and formatting for most languages, but still is far better than notepad for simple text files. Powerful search and replace functions.
Cons
Takes a bit of learning to be get used to the program, but is well worth it.

"Easy Text Editor/Reader"
Version: EditPad Pro 6.5.2
Pros
Will READ .dat Files (only product I've found that will actually do this)
Cons
There is nothing I don't like about this product.
Summary
Ever get a "Returned" e-mail from the Postmaster? They are very annoying. What even worse is that they arrive with .dat file attachments. None of the software that comes with Windows will read these files. EditPad Pro is the only software that will read these files.

"great but could be better"
Version: EditPad Pro 6.3
Pros
love the CTRL+E browser preview when you are coding or scripting hmtl files.
The open all files in folder is great, when you need to update a piece of code site round and still want to go for a pint in the evening!
Cons
The code highlighting could be improved though!! Doesn't beat Notepad++ which is freeware!!!
