Version: Edit Buddy 2.0
"Its a great program!"
Summary: I stopped by this board to check if I see something useful in other user responses and I just needed to write this, because I see a couple negative ones. I cannot tolerate this. Edit Buddy is one of the most useful programs that I use. I guess its ok if the negative responses were constructive and objective, but they are complete bull. User H. Van Sickle is a fake. He writes that he bought the v2, but it was free for all registered users. I only paid for Edit Buddy once, when I bought v1.2 a year ago. It also works great on both my computers at work (Win2k) and at home (Win98). There is no slowdown or freeze. He sounds like a competitor or just like random basher.
Talking about competitors, I tried a lot of other products by competition; they all donÂ?t stand a chance. They are not even close to elegance of Edit Buddy.
I think everybody should at least try Edit Buddy. I guarantee that after you use it for couple of weeks and hook it up to your favorite programs you will be hooked. By the way another reason why I think that H. Van Sickle is fake Â? Decisoft was always very helpful to me as far as answering e-mails very politely. Surely if he had problem they wouldÂ?ve helped him or refunded his money. Plus if I remember correctly v1.2 had a month of grace period with full functionality. Why didnÂ?t he test it first and paid money right away.
Anyway on constructive note: Edit Buddy works great. I added its dropdown menus to at least 50 fields in various programs. Works superb in Â?RunÂ? field on the Â?StartÂ? menu, on Â?FindÂ? pane in File Explorer, in the database program that we have at work (that program has plenty of fields that I need to fill out every day and that are filled out now automatically by Edit Buddy. I also hooked it up to Outlook: every time that I save a file I now can pick from the list of folders, instead of browsing. I hooked it up to the Internet ExplorerÂ?s Â?Save PictureÂ? dialog box: I donÂ?t like saving them to My Pictures, like Microsoft seems to suggest. I also put it in the login dialog box, when I login to my VPN: now I donÂ?t need to input user name and domain name Â? just need to input password and IÂ?m in. I can add more to this list, but this is the longest message IÂ?ve ever left on any board. I guess I kind of feel like I owe this one to Decisoft for the great program.
