"Searching for a good economic game? Search forward..."
Version: EconomiZation 5.0
Pros
It has got some fotos and own icons and you can try your luck on bets, you can bet on horses.
Cons
It's very clear that this program has never had a beta tester - or the tester had a very bad job. Inspite the first look, this game is a real gamer-killer. I thought the same - see the other reviewer's note -, that this program can show me something very good, however, you'll search for the uninstall possibility after those secons.
The image sizes aren't good neither all texts are displayed with the right size so when you open the about (would that be the help?) you'll have to focus onto a little Exit text at the bottom... awesome.
Right at the main window you can't read the text from the statusbar.
It's also a very big misstake that you can't close opened child windows by an X or alike, fe. click on the most famous companies and try to close it.
The interface is ugly and you won't get much help on what to do exactly.

Cons

"Needs a lot of work"
Version: EconomiZation 5.0
Pros
It has potential as a detailed sim.
On first running the game, it seemed like there would be lots of options for strategies. Within 30 seconds I found otherwise.
Cons
0. Several spelling errors (pet peeve)
1.The program barely functions, bad programming, terrbile interface. Some windows which open cannot be closed.
Maybe just my monitor, but the graphics settings can't be adjusted, many possibly explanatory text messages in the task bar at the bottom of this game's window were cut off, so I couldn't read them.
2. No documentation or instructions.
3. If the game were playable, the primitive WIN95 era graphics would be acceptable...
4. Looks impossible to play unless you pay to register, in this version you start with $1000 and you can not remotely afford to buy any startup factories, nor can you borrow enough to do so.. of course if you pay the $8 registration fee, you get $1,000,000 starting cash so you could actually play.
I actually registered on Download.com so I could specifically complain about this POS.
