Version: Echoes 1.01
"A nice and fast Geometry Wars clone;Binary Zoo did its magic again."
Pros: First this is AN AMAZING product pretty equal to Geometry Wars. This is the best(and free!)alternative to the quality game Geometry Wars. If you never played Geometry Wars you HAVE to download this. Even if you have, give it a shot, you'll like it. If you dont have a Joystick remember to go to the options and change the settings to mouse or keyboard or even customize the buttons to your own liking.
And SceptreX my good friend, this is the BEST clone out there. It IS faster compared to both Rainbow and Grid Wars. Even though I have an Intel Celeron proccesor(which I think is great), it is very low on requirements and it is so-not system hungry or boring. I ran it on an Avast Deep Full Scan while securely erasing the Recycle Bin which was holding about 500MB. Thats what I call Memory Use. And that 'hazy' effect is what makes Geometry Wars shine. That's why everyone, including me, love it.
Cons: Well nothing except that the stuff in the zip file is pretty messed up but once you unzip it everythings quite well organized and you only see the Echoes executable file and a few folders.

What can I say? I had a crappy experience, and I reviewed it as such. The power-ups are dull, the chaos is only settling in late in the game when there are tons of enemies around, and even then it takes forever to wipe them out due to the bullet movement speed.
I'm not saying the game ran slow, I'm saying that the game was too slow for my tastes, the whole embedded thing. And if GW makes the screen look like your drunk, well, count me one for not playing that game (even though I swore I did). I don't have the fastest computer in the world, but when I can't run internet and this game at the same time, something is wrong. It's hungrier than the retail games I have.
Well, whatever, if you enjoyed the game and I didn't, that's my loss. I'll just stick to Grid Wars.
