"A Major New Game"
Summary: As an American who can't speak a word of Russian, please allow me to apologize for all my countrymen who posted negative reviews here because they couldn't read the game. Yes, it makes its a bit tricky to figure out, but I was flying within a minute or two. I think it amounts to agregious ethnocentrism to demand all games on CNET be in English -- take half a second and just figure it out! It isn't rocket science. The graphics are probably the best of any game in its class, with specular lighting effects, bump-mapping, dust and particle effects, and more. It will be a major game when it comes out (in English, I expect, for you slow folks) later this month. One question for the Russians -- Please (!) tell me how to switch the game to Joystick control. I can't figure that one out, though I've gotten into the screen for changing the controls. The joystick buttons work, but only the mouse directs the ship, and the throttle doesn't work either. Any suggestions? I'd like to play this game for real, instead of just admiring the graphics. Thanks, GSB
