"Nicely designed, highly focused program."

Pros
This program does one thing and one thing well - it scales photos simply and without flaw. I have been using it for years to make thumbnails for websites or other uses.
Cons
I would like to see the photo destination default to the location of the photos and allow changes off of that rather than having to hunt for the destination each run.
Summary
I can use this to run batch jobs on photos I have organized for website articles and resize and rename them in one shot. You can store your settings and have the photos handled consistently every time you run it.

FREE, easy, simple, small program with no ads, malware, spyware, etc.

No cons at all!
Summary
I've used this program for at least 2 years now. Easy to choose options. I normally use it to re-size my digital pictures to 600x800 for easier viewing for those I email the pictures to. Easy to do batches (multiple photos) and re-name them at the same time. And it's FREE!

It is simple, user-friendly and doesn't do a gazillion things. It does exactly what it says, makes thumbnails. I like the choice of size and the preview.

"Resizes efficiently and easily"

Pros
Easy to use. Can input any size desired (max height or width). Can adjust quality (and therefore size of the file). The program even allows some adjustments (sharpness, contrast) as well as appending the file name to identify it has been resized.
Cons
I haven't found any drawbacks to this program. It does what it says.
Summary
Excellent little program. It makes thumbnails or simply smaller versions for use on your website, blog, or email. The quality of the thumbnails is excellent (although you can choose to vary the quality level).

Pros
This is the easiest resizer I've ever used. I've been using it since it first came out, and I still use it today to resize photos for my website, and whenever I need to upload a photo.
Cons
The only problem with Easy Thumbnails is it's name: it should be named 'Easy Photo Resizer', because it does so much more than generate thumbnails!!
Summary
It is extremely easy to setup and use. Whether you need to resize an entire folder/directory of photos or just one, this is the program you should be using. The options for renaming (or not renaming) your photos covers all the bases. You can add either a prefix, or a suffix to the filename, or keep the same filename as the original.
It even shows you what the resized photo will look like BEFORE you do the resizing. You can easily compare the original with the resized photo, checking on whether you can decrease the quality further without degrading the visible image.
AND there is no obnoxious advertising that other 'FREE' programs want to force you to view while you are trying to work. Right now, Easy Thumbnails is the only FREE program that I use. And when I need another digital photo product, I would recommend any of their products. -

I like this program most, because it is clear to use and has all essential functions without any firlefanz or limitations - and it is freeee :-)))

I had to try a lot of other resizers till i found this program, dont hide it anymore ;-)
