Summary
I had an old, Windows 95 program whose executable's icon, for some strange reason, wouldn't display in Vista. None of the program's DLL and ICO files matched the original icon, so I found a suitable JPG image on the net, opened it in "Easy Picture2Icon", selected the size and "type" (three choices: Compress, Cut Edges, Fit, which do exactly what they look like they should do), and saved the resulting icon. When I changed the old Win95 application's icon to that result, it was nearly perfect! (there's a tiny black edge that didn't appear in the Easy... program's "preview" windows, but I can live with that). Now, I'm going to update all my old applications' icons in the same manner! (as a matter of fact, the hardest thing about all this is searching the 'net for an appropriate image to become an icon!)

Summary
If you're looking for the simplest way to convert image files to Windows icons, this is the sine qua non. If you're looking for fancy-schmantzy, esoteric conversion software, spend some money. This little beaut is 100% free, and so easy even a caveman could use it (sorry, fellas......)

I like the fact that it is EXTREMELY simple to use and makes icons of different sizes.

I couldn't find anything to complain about.

I like this little propgram because it does what it says it will and then some. I would recommend it to anyone who needed to make their own icons.

Summary
Considering there are not many free programs in this category, this program is perfect. Does everything Microangelo does, if all you want to do is change an icon, and it's free!
