"This is a great program"

Pros
Easy to follow install directions. The free scan found information I had no idea was being stored on my computer hard drive. I got my key by the next morning. Everything has worded perfectly.
Cons
I have to wait for the splash screen to disappear when I turn on the computer so it does take a little longer to boot.
Summary
I am very happy with this product and think it is well worth the price.

This product does not work for me. Drivers have failed in installation, in particular Hewlett Packard who also cannot supply - this was my whole point in investing in a copy of EasyDriver.. There is no guarantee with this sort of product that drivers found ARE out-of-date and ARE correctly replaced/workable. System Restore has been necessary after several BSOD's in Windows7.
Perhaps it is time for someone to keep an accessible database which will clearly identify the 'bad' software houses such as this so that other users are not caught by the same scams. EasyDriverPro is only one of many examples. Would that PCPro would follow this up.
My honest request for a refund has been met with obfuscation bordering on refusal (hiding behind what they call a 'refund policy') which is not honest for a serious software house. At purchase the impression given is of a cooling-off/approval period in which to find the product acceptable. I cannot recommend this software or its producer in any way whatsoever.

I think Easy Driver Pro is a top shelf utility. It helped me out of a mess and now protects me miring down my computer out of neglect.
I must admit I had a bit of a shock when I saw the pie chart at the top of the results page. There was a large wedge, nearly one-quarter of the pie, that represented 14 out of date drivers. I was amazed that a couple of those drivers were for devices that were not currently plugged into my computer, like my memory stick and microphone.
After spending hours and a lot of worry about my ever slowing down computer, I have found the problem. I had assumed that I was keeping my drivers up to date, yet I know realize that I have hundreds of drivers on my computer. It would be difficult for anyone to keep up with. From now on, I will be leaving that task to Easy Driver Pro.
Easy Driver Pro indeed lives up to its name, EASY. I read the promo on CNET and decided it was what I wanted to use. From download to instillation to clicking the buttons in program itself, it was easy. And, it lived up to its billing by upgrading 14 of my drivers and supplying a missing one. As a result I can notice the improved efficiency and speed.
I highly recommend Easy Driver Pro. -

When you start the EasyDriver Pro for the first time, the program will determine what kind of computer you have and will ask you to clarify the specifications if it could not find some information (I was using the OEM matching option).
I tested the program on a Laptop and it was able to identify almost everything about my laptop apart from the exact model that I was using. In theory this should have been easily fixed by electing my model from the drop down menu, however, I needed to choose "not selected" because my laptop model was not listed. I selected this option but the program still prompted me to select a model from the list, apparently the "not listed" option does not work. So for the sake of being able to test the program I went to the "EasyDriver universal match intelligence" which worked very well and is the fastest option.
After you have completed the first step, the program will scan your computer which worked very fast and without any problems for me. After the scan you get a list of all the drivers you have installed on your computer and you quickly see whether any of them are out of date. A small summary at the top shows you a little nice graph with the stats, for me it said that there were 75 drivers, 57 were up to date, 13 of them were system drivers and 5 of them out of date. So I wanted to have a closer look - which of my drivers were out of date? The list that can be found under the summary will make it easy for you to get all the info about the drivers.
In the free version of the program you will not be able to do much more but for someone who was just interested in checking whether their drivers are up to date, this is enough because it finding the current drivers will be easy enough once you know what you are looking for.
In the paid version of the program, you can also get extra information on the drivers by clicking on the name of the driver and after the scan you can press "next step" and the program will download all the current drivers that are necessary to update the drivers that are out of date which is a very convenient feature for people who have quite a few out of date drivers and do not want to go from one homepage to the other to find the right driver. The EasyDriver Pro can do all of this for you in just one simple step and will save you quite a bit of time by doing so.
As I know my drivers well, I saw no fault in what the program had told me. The drivers that were out of date according to the program were out of date indeed. I would recommend this program to people who need to check on their drivers (especially gamers who want to play current games) and want to update them with as much ease as possible. It does not take long to download and install the program. It all worked very well and fast (tested on Windows 7). However, if you want to do more than just see the info about which ones of your drivers are up to date and out of date, you will need to pay and register the program. -

I would give product a rating of 0 as I have yet to receive my registration key after I purchased the product days ago. I tried repeatedly to contact the third party company that sells the product (safecart.com) and also the drivershq.com and the easy pro driver website. Pretty much they send you on a wild goose chase from website to website. Response time is 24 hours but that was days ago. They ask you to log a support ticket but no ticket number was sent to my email. THIS IS A SCAM - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. CNET - DO SOMETHING TO WARN YOUR READERS.
