Company uses fraudulent marketing tactics. You are not a customer, you are prey. Ships incompatible oem drivers with xp so that they can hustle you to pay big money for an upgrade. This is a good one for the Federal Trade Commission

"This update is for Version 3 ONLY!!!!!!"
Version: Easy CD Creator Software Update 3.5c
Summary
XP/Win2K updates:
Roxio is one on the hardest companies to work with as far as their software support is concerned. If you have CDC 5, on Windows (XP, 2K, etc), you need to ensure you have the updates. Go to Roxio/support, and do the following: In order to access the software updates for Roxio products, you
will need to have a registration account (1) created with a Login name
and Password assigned to you. You will also require a minimum of
one software item registered in your account.
If you do not have the TSID number or CD Key to register your software, you need to
(2) register as having the Basic version of that software. This way, you
will not be asked to provide a TSID number or CD Key, and you
will be able to access all the updates you need.
Updates should be to 5.3.10s for 5 Premium on XP or 2K. This DOES work on both, WITH the updates!!
Lockups and 'CD unrecognized' need to look at Roxio Knowledge Base to clean Registry entries. (Fairly easy.)
Good luck!! -
"Works if you load XP Patch"

"havoc with xp"
Version: Easy CD Creator Software Update 3.5c
Summary
This program is not compatible with windows xp. After uninstallation windows keeps saying driver disabled will make windows unstable. I eventually sorted this by doing a system restore to a date previous to installation.
