"Best address book I could find BUT....."

    January 23, 2011  |   By Andrewwe

    Version: Easy Address Book 3.02

    Pros

Ability to edit the size and amount of stickers.

    Cons

The address section needs at least another three fields- one for first name, one to accommodate longer addresses, and one separating zip and city, please.

    Summary

Happy to purchase when extra fields are added.

"Its too simple. Only one category, persons."

    September 6, 2010  |   By rick6834

    Version: Easy Address Book 3.02

    Pros

Its very easy to keep peoples info on a straight list. Nothing fancy.

    Cons

It needs folders for different categories. So when it opens you see a list of folders. Dr's, friends, Businesses, Fast food joints, what ever folders you want to create.Instead of one mixed list it's easier to go to the category you need.

    Summary

if you just have the list of folders you can change a file by opening it and replace what you need to there. You don't need two file templates. Just one. with a more complete discription including Person or Business or other. Then make a file: same as windows, and sort your contacts into the proper files for easy access to all your Dr's, Fast food joints, Friends, family, business contacts, etc. I like what you have it's really the basics. But it could be so much better with some improvements.

    "Nothing but a come-on"

    January 24, 2010  |   By OldGrumpy

    Version: Easy Address Book 3.02

    Pros

    It was simple to set-up.

    Cons

This version is nothing but a come-on to entice you to buy their not free version.
This version allows one to load one person at a time; if you want to load more than one at a time, you must buy their not-for-free version.

    Summary

I hate come-ons -- saying that this product is free when in fact it is virtually useless, unless one buys another version. That's what we've got here. By the time you download the first version, discover that it is not as implied, spend more time to jerk it out of your computer you have wasted a lot of time unnecessarily. If the vendor would just forthright in the first place and tell you what it would and would not do, I wouldn't feel so angry. But it didn't; it led one to believe one thing when in fact it delivered something else. In the final analysis, you get what you pay for. Here you paid nothing, and that's what you got -- nothing very usable unless you fell for the vendor's stunt to buy his working version.
