Easy Address Book is exactly that, an easy-to-use address book for your computer. You can use it to store your contacts and send messages from your usual e-mail client with a few quick clicks. There's also a password protection option that can secure your personal information in all or part of the address book.
Easy Address Book has a bare-bones interface, but it's easy to use and performs its intended function well. Advanced and novice computer users alike will have no problem using this program. Adding contacts is as easy as filling out a form with a new contact's name, phone number, e-mail address, and street address. We filled out the form, pressed the "Add New" button and our new contact was added; simple as that. If you want to change or update any of the information for your contacts, you can do so by clicking on the contact and then the "Update" button. You can also send e-mail to your contacts from the Easy Address Book interface. If you click on your contact and then click on "Send," your default mail client will open with the "To" field filled in with the contact's e-mail address.
Easy Address Book is easy to use, and it has a good Help file if you need assistance. This program installs and uninstalls with no problems. Easy Address Book is free. This program is a good address book solution, and would be handy for users who want to store their contacts' information in a simple database.

It's intuitive and easy to inatall and use.

VERY limited. I have up to 3 phone numbers for some contacts, as well as 2 email addresses. Don't want to make multiple entries for one contact just to get all info on them.

I generally believe less is more. I like simple but certain minimum elements are needed and this doesn't have them. Very disappointed that cnet would rate this so highly. Are they getting paid off? Makes no sense. My trust in cnet has been seriously eroded.

It is plain, simple, and direct. You can make a list of friends separate from business contacts, plus make notes and even record birthdays. When you open it, the names and numbers are displayed. If you search, it finds what you are typing as you go.

None that I have found so far.
Summary
I think it is perfect for my simple needs. All I wanted was a way to preserve the phone numbers that are stored on my phone -- so I would have them when the battery on my phone goes out, but I found I really liked it.
I love the fact that as I type in a phone number, all I have to type is the numbers because it places the parens and hyphen where they need to be without my paying attention to it.
You can print out a list of everything and, though I have not tried it, it looks like it will print out address labels, too.
I am very please with the choice I made. There were others out there but after reading the other reviews, and looking at the software display, I liked this one the best for its uncomplicated and useful design. I give it 5 stars!!
