"Works great and is the fastest joiner I've seen"
Version: Easy AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Joiner 3.5
Pros
1) Works at the file level, which means it simply is joining files together. It is not re-encoding which 99% of the other joiners do. On a 1Ghz PIII w/ 256MB, it took under 10min to join ~3GB of files. I'm not sure what the editor was testing when they mentioned this was slow in the Editor's Review. Any other joiner would have to go through a re-encode which would have taken hours. Please post here if I am missing something...
........2) Keeps the original quality of the files (i.e., does not modify the bitrate, width/height, etc.). All files must be of the same bitrate, fps, etc.
........3) Works with AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV formats
........4) Works on virtually all version of Windows - including Vista.
........5) Simple interface for a simple task
........6) Eval works with any size/# of files. It places a watermark in the video. Other joiners have much more tight eval limitations.
........7) AmigoShare support responded to my questions within 24hrs
........8) I would definitely purchase again!
Cons
All CONS are minor...
........1) Cost - it was worth the $20 for me but for others, it should be closer to $10.
........2) All files must be of the same type, fps, width/height, etc. - Again, not a problem me but it makes the point that this app does not re-encode at all (which actually makes it faster).

"a FRUSTRATION"
Version: Easy AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Joiner 3.5
Pros
The presentation is friendly and intuitive. It would be great if if actually worked
Cons
The Watermark is not a subtle on in the corner. IT IS HUGE AND ACCROSS THE MID SCREEN Making it impossible to enjoy the simplest sample.
After joining clips they run anything but smoothly. Jumpy, frozen . As I said. A frustration.

"Not worth it"
Version: Easy AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Joiner 3.5
Pros
Th simple interface is the only positive thing about this (I tried the free version).
Cons
Apart from the huge watermark all over the screen (which I could have tolerated in some instances) the emerging video does not run smoothly. I tried joining 2 different sets of videos (all of them mpegs) and the merged video hangs and slows and needs to be prompted to move on, unlike the original files. I played it with realPlayer and DivX and Windows Media Player.
