I tried to recover the partition on a laptop but EASEUS couldn't do it. What is the point in calling a program a partition recovery tool if it can't do the job?

Did the job! The "Fast" option did not, but the "Complete" found and restored the partition. I am very, very thankful that it worked.
Cons
The steps/buttons were a little unclear.
Summary
I selected the known area and it took a little over an hour to recover the partition. "Next" was grayed out at one point, so I was concerned; but I waited and then the progress bar started displaying its progress. The tool delivered!

This product does what it claims, able to detect lost partitions and reclaim them.
Cons
Not able to recover adjoining partitions in one go - claims overlap. But can recover one at a time, meaning 2 adjoining lost partitions requires the Recovery operation to be done twice.
Summary
Was able to recover lost partitions completely - 100%. No fuss, no ambiguity, and does a clean job. Cautions the user about Overlapping Partitions - Really a TOP class product and FREE!
But the cautioning part may be a little overdone. Refuses to Recover adjoining partitions in one go - for example Partition A ends at sector xxxxxxxx7 and Partition B starts at sector xxxxxxxx8. The product refused to permit both partitions to be recovered in one go. I had to Recover Partition A first and copy it elsewhere. Then Recover Partition B and do the same. This requires looking into. -

Summary
I was installing Windows and accidentally had my external hdd plugged in. I deleted the partition on my external and thought my data was gone forever. EASEUS had my data recovered in minutes! Thanks!

when the partition table on my Seagate freeagent desktop usb 500gb external hard drive got mucked up for some unknown reason this program restored the partition table on the drive and i got all my data back in about 1 hour.

No problems with this program.
