"I have never received better tech support!"

    January 9, 2011  |   By ronstein4

    Pros

The people behind this product along with the fact that it was free. Makes me happy.

    Cons

    Nothing so far.

    Summary

I am so far, very impressed with Easeus Todo backup. I was in a fowl mood, in a hurry and frustrated to start with. Not the ideal time to fiddle with recently acquired software that I know very little about. I had spent a minimal amount of time setting up an auto backup plan. No reading mind you, just go in there and do it. Spent about 15 - 20 minutes actual time to set it up. Examined my backup drive next day and found that I somehow had managed to have it doing an incremental backup four times a day. I wanted it to do it just once a day. Frustrated after only a minute of time spent trying to find a way to delete the backup plans, I fired a note off to the support people - "I cannot find any way to delete or disable a backup schedule. There must be a way right??" - and then I went to bed. This was January 6th, at 6:50pm. The next day at 11:32am, I received an email with very detailed instructions of how to delete the backup plans so I could start over and do it correctly. I felt very foolish and honestly ashamed that I "screamed" at the support people before I was "cool" enough not to take my frustrations out on the software that I was not taking the time to examine, or "play" with. In my humble opinion, the tech support I received was hundreds of times more timely and helpfully to the point than other products I have paid for real money. Thank you Easeus support. I promise to spend more time "playing" with the program before I contact you again. In addition, when I do, I will ask politely for help instead of being so terse. I have not tried to do a restore yet but if I run into trouble I think I can get some help!

It would help if you tell us about your system: CPU, memory, hard drives (brand, model, size), operating system and version, to and from where you are backup and restoring, and what you are backing up and restoring.
