"After re-install of windows will not activate"
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
Clean user interface
Cons
After re-install of windows will not activate
The email support address doesn't work.
I mount a system backup from a different machine. It mounts ok, but cannot be accessed.
I get "F:\ is not accessible - media is write protected"
I had tested the mount on the first machine with no problem.
With incremental backup the result was success, but mounting the image, succeeds but cannot be accessed. So every day you need to try the mount, and delete the incremental backup, the run the backup again.
I haven't had any luck restoring Windows 8 from a backup.Summary
Don't pay for this. Use the free version, and test recovery on a test machine.
I posted this review for the wrong product, I was talking about Easeus ToDo Backup Home.

"Garbage!!!"
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
Don't know. Won't work
Cons
Downloaded 3 times. Each time got a message that the startup file was corrupted and to download again.
Geting help from the website is worthless. Too many things to navigate through to get to support and contact.Summary
For domething so highly rated, this is not the sort of thing I expect. I have asked for a refund. I hope I get it.

"Easy to use, but..."
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
I found the software very user friendly.
Cons
However, when I plugged the disk in after about three hours of cloning, something had happened to the boot sector and it wouldn't boot.
Summary
I'd actually like to know just what happened so I could avoid making the same type of mistake should I ever want to use EaseUS again in the future.

"Can't handle multiple partitions"
Version: EaseUS Disk Copy Home Edition 2.3.1
Pros
Didn't use it long enough to find out
Cons
The first backup I tried to an NAS was about 200GB across 8 partitions (yes, I'm a developer and I partition my disks accordingly). After 2 hours it had backed up 288MB and showed 105 hours to go. Looking at the performance monitor, the disk was running 100% (and virtually nothing else could be done) but disk transfer rate was almost non-existent - in the neighborhood of a few mb/minute (normal is > 10mb/sec.). Obviously the program issued enough requests that the disk just thrashed trying to keep up and couldn't transfer data effectively. Cancelling the backup and the system returned to normal.
Summary
Maybe it's ok if you have one or two partitions, but with multiple ones it's completely worthless. No idea how restore works - I never got that far.
