Version: EZ AVI To MPEG Converter 3
Pros: Simple to use even for a novice. It's designed to do one simple job and it does it well. Since I use a Flip Ultra camcorder that will record only in AVI format, it's worth the $13 to have an easy way to convert. Unlike the other reviewer, the program worked fine on my first attempt, so I suspect he got a corrupted download, which happens regularly.
Cons: I'd like a larger interface window. Buttons are tiny. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars.

Version: EZ AVI To MPEG Converter 3
Pros: The title says it all. I needed a converter and it did it. Couldn't ask for more. Now, if I have a video that's longer than 2 minutes then I'll have to buy it, but it's not expensive, so no problem there.

Cons: Doesn't even start, after installation returns error code: Exception EOleSysError in module... 0008C799 Class not registered.

Pros: nothing
Cons: As soon as a I downloaded this software I opened it and tried to convert an avi file but when I tried to add it to the convert list it said the file isn't supported. I tried a couple of others and got the same thing. This software is horrible, its specifically designed to convert avi's and yet it doesn't support them, I swear if I knew a way I would find every person that's made a piece of crap like this and beat them until they can't move.

"5 minutes of my life I wont get back"
Pros: No pros I can think of....
Cons: Doesn't work...
Summary: If there was an option for zero stars that's what I would have given it....It's garbage...tried to convert an AVI file...error message states "file not supported"....whatever read more
