A couple weeks ago I downloaded this program to remove a Mcafee dat file that would not remove because it said the file was in use or something. This program removed the file. All I did was right clicked on the file I wanted to delete and selected delete(s) on next boot and it was gone. This is a great free program and I recommend it to anyone that has a problem deleting a file when Windows is running and the file cannot be deleted because it is in use.

really was the only one that managed to erase all traces of my resilliante anti virus program....some 10 minutes get`in used and was gone....it has delivered...worth to keep...and up grade...

This FREE software enabled me to remove a program that neither the Windows removal or any other downloaded removal tool would do. Excellent product and its FREE. Well worth the money.

I had a small file (2.2kb) on my XP Home Edition computer that was appearently attached within the DOS environment. It was part of a download (I was downloading a patch in 2004). There must have been some bad programming or spyware within it. Whatever it was, I wanted to get rid of it! Nothing I have tried and I mean nothing, would get rid of it! Then while looking through the utilities section here at good ol' Download.com, I saw EMCO "MoveOnBoot". After downloading and installing it - I went after that unremovable annoyance. With great ease MoveOnBoot got it off my system. I give it high marks for effectiveness and ease of use. Additionally, it has an easy to understand help file. It's a great program and it's 100% free! Thank you EMCO and thank you Download.com!

It would be great if the program would prompt you to reboot after making your selections. Hopefully this will be added in a later release.
