A nice simple GUICons
Failed completly to recurse delete files from folders. This meant selcting individual files...a long and cumbersome method when compared to "take ownership" even with the 15 item selection limit.
Fails to take into account file "ownership" or "trusted installer" status or full "administrator" priveledges that may be required to remove files.Summary
The blurb is very promising but the results were below par. I read the review about it removing virus and smiled to myself.

Pros
Easy to download and configure. It blasted away some scumware toolbar and a hijack-the-home-page routine that somehow got loaded on my computer. I was unable to remove the programs using conventional methods including DOS commands but this program did the job.
Cons
Not intuitively obvious how to use.

This program is a keeper.

Simply does its job, to remove files and folders which the Windows operating system just won't let go of.

Summary
If you've never encountered the situation this little utility was made for, let's say you've found a comprehensive media player you like much better than Windows Media Player (WMP). This is not hard to do, in my estimation.
Now, you want to remove WMP. You know it's needlessly occupying hard drive space, as well as Registry keys for its registered DLL files etc. You periodically use a Registry cleaner for the sake of performance, but you know it won't remove those keys if the files are still there.
You look for the uninstaller, and there is none. You go to the Control Panel program which adds & removes Windows' features, and tell it you don't want WMP. It seems to do the reconfiguration, but then you check the C:\Program Files folder. The Windows Media Player folder is still there, and it's definitely not empty. You try to delete it, and the system won't let you do that.
At this point an very advanced user might suspect that the offending folder could be removed in Windows' Safe Mode, and would know how to reboot the machine into that mode. Most users would not. This works, but involves a second reboot to get the machine back into Normal Startup Mode. This little utility does the job in just one reboot, without the special Windows configuration knowledge. -

"Worked for my problem"

Win7 would not let me delete a game .exe file. Kept saying I needed to be administrator. I am. Nothing I tried within windows could get rid of it. I downloaded this beauty and it's wizard walked me through it and the file and directory was gone, fast

Just can't say anything bad about it.
Summary
I would just like to say that using this program with the wizard helped me a lot. I don't want to have to study command line syntax just to accomplish removing a file. Win 7 didn't help me get a solution.

"A masterpiece of programming"

Relatively small download size, can unlock locked files/folders or overpower infected ones, easy to use, it's free!

None at all, it did exactly what I wanted.

An absolutely genious piece of programming, I could not be happier with it. I was being blocked from deleting a certain file on my computer, when I would try to delete it, I kept getting an error message telling me the file was being used by another program & therefor I was unable to delete it (I suspect the file was infected). MoveOnBoot deleted the file first try, no problems, easy!
It is incredibly easy to use too, I must have spent less than 5 minutes in total setting it up to delete the file in question, and for users that are perhaps less advanced, there is an extensive users manual built into the program.
This is a first rate piece of software, I have no complaints and only high praise for it. I just can't belive its free! If you have any problem files which are resistant to deletion, this is definately the program to use. I just wish I could give it more than 5 stars! -
"Fantastic - worked immediately"

Free. Nice interface. Installed quickly. Worked (the most important pr). It got rid of a very stubborn bunch of folders and files on a non-system drive that were resiting deletion by several other programs due to "access denied" messages.

What's not to like? It's free, what do you expect?
