Summary
I read the terrible reviews for Version 7.2 and was sceptical to believe that the product would still have the same flaws. I should have not made that assumption!
I installed Version 8.1. It failed to complete the installation and crashed with a message that read: Unable to update MBR! From that point my laptop has been in a locked state that I am unable to unlock. There is no snapshot to restore from as the software did not install properly in the first place.
I ran the uninstall.exe from the Program Files directory and deleted the folder. That did not work! I now have a locked system with no way of fixing without a complete reinstall!
If you do decide to try this steaming pile of manure, make sure you have a complete image of your entire system (even if you have separate partitions) as you will need it.
You have been warned!
Bottom-line: Avoid like the plague!
