Pros
Clean interface, nice layout, no clutter. Simple design, just enough options.
And no #$%^ing TYPOS! No annoying spelling errors and crap.
I only needed to list businesses, friends, contacts, & log a few notes for each, & this does it perfectly.Cons
Haven't found anything yet.
The product is doing precisely what I needed, and reliably.
Maybe add a few colour themes or skins to jazz it up a bit, and it'd put the 'fun' in 'functional'.
Even the Phone# auto-formatting works reliably! Yay!Summary
As mentioned, I didn't need a fancy date tracker or appointment minder or other time manager... my VueMinder Calendar is handling all that.
Since my original review, I've had this fail twice, with a weird foreign language message in a dialog box.
I just needed a simple, reliable tracking system to keep a handle on contacts, with a few notes on each... advertising rates, people to talk to, extraneous data, and stuff like that.
This program is quick and versatile enough to have enough flexibility to re-arrange as needed (even the column set-up is easy and malleable), and yet it doesn't get bogged down in dozens of options, sub-functions and rarely-used micro-features.
Very happy with the results!

It failed at about 6-month intervals.
Copied the message to Google Translate, it was Hungarian, & said an index file or something similar was corrupted. AND gave NO info on how to fix it, leaving me hanging.
I found & copied the dataset file to one side with a different name, & re-installed.
It wiped out the original dataset, starting over with NO records. However, by renaming the copy to the original filename, it worked with the original data.
Then, a half year later it failed AGAIN, with MORE complications that prevented retrieval of the data copy.
Frustrated, I converted the dataset into an ASCII file, & imported it to Excel. Worked several months 'til I found something more reliable, early March /13, a program called Efficient Address Book; VERY flexible, more options, and bulletproof. PLUS backup and export/import features, so you're never left hanging with data loss. Nice.
