An effective file-management tool, Dynamic Backup Utility can back up your files in real time according to a user-specified time interval, although it lacks some fairly common features. It has a simply designed interface that users can easily comprehend even without a help file. It silently resides on your system tray, efficiently backing up your files. To easily identify your backup hierarchy, this application adds an alphanumeric suffix to the filenames. You can also set the time interval between each backup, including the backup directory. Saving your files to project categories allows you to easily run the backup for selected files repeatedly. However, the program does not support drag-and-drop functionality for adding files, and does not backup folders. Although novice users may find this application handy and useful, savvy-to-advanced users may find it lacking.
