There are many features / setup options so you need to invest some time reviewing on-line tutorials and documentation.
Summary
I like it because it allows me to start small and at same time I know as my company grows, this software will easily handle my expanding requirements and data volumes. Two of my favourite features are the user-defined flex-fields and the terminology translation glossary.

Alot of functionality that I didn't expect. I've worked with alot of ERP systems at big companies and this definitely has it all. 4 uses is a bonus.
Cons
A little bit of a big download and registration required.
Summary
Dowload this if you are a manufacturer or a distributor and need accounting and inventory and MRP software. It's all there free.

Pros
Amazing features and functionality, including strong manufacturing. Solid DB. The D/L is big for a reason, this is NOT a beginner-level system, it's PRO. Occasional glitches (to be expected), but so far very good support.
Cons
Oracle (XE) installs, and works like, a heavy-weight DBMS. UI needs to be easier to work with for users (being done, from what I'm told).

lots of user-customizable features, great back-end database, multi-language, multi-currency. tons of free reports.

the UI is a little boring.
