Version: DynAdvance Notifier 1.1.68 beta
Pros: it seems to work really good, with all the popular email services, and i think it's a really good idea ... i like it alot
Cons: they're lying about it being free, and if the popular email services decide that they dont like this handy little tool, they may do things to their own protocol to make it not work, which in turn will require dynadvance to be forced to constantly upgrade their product

Version: DynAdvance Notifier 1.1.68 beta
Cons: This program is not free! It also can be misleading to users because it is slightly indicative of that it provides POP3 support for web based accounts, which is not true.

Version: DynAdvance Notifier 1.1.68 beta
Cons: This program is not free. Download.com got played when the makers submitted it into this directory. It costs $14.95 thru Regnow. I installed it at my workplace and couldn't get it to connect (no proxy settings option). At my home it worked, but like the reviewer above stated, it doesn't work with Yahoo! Bottom line, it does not work when you're behind a proxy (company firewall). A waste of my time installing it and getting it to work plus I wasn't happy with being misled into thinking this program was freeware. They should state that it is shareware (free to try) with the price shown.

Version: DynAdvance Notifier 1.1.160 beta
Pros: I must have tried at least 7 or 8 different programs trying to find one that would do what DynAdvance does. It was easy as pie to set up, unlike many other mail notifiers, and you can even use your own .wav file as the sound it makes when you get new mail. I had it working just fine for my POP account and three IMAPs (AOL). To me it will be well worth the $10.00!
Cons: This really is not a con I guess, but I downloaded it from the company's website, so I'm assuming I got the latest version, not a beta. (Version 1.1.205)
