"Very fast, basic filename searching functionality"
Pros: Very fast, basic filename searching functionality
Cons: Hard to configure. Doesn't address keywords or comments, etc.

"A huge improvement over the standard Windows Search."
Pros: I need to search through over 350,000 graphic files, which total increases by 8-10,000 per week. Windows was taking over a minute per search, while DVYGUN Smart Search produces results immediately. Since the bulk of my files are graphics (no internal text), the initial indexing of over 40GB took only about an hour. The thumbnail previews of the files are especially useful for graphic files, and the preview of the text-based files I've searched lets you confirm that you have found the files you were seeking. Very useful and intuitive.
Cons: Slight interpretation of the help text and similar is required; just read this material carefully. The program author is Ukrainian, but certainly writes better English than I do Ukrainian. Be reassured, though, if you have successfully worked through any Japanglish manuals in the past, you will have no problems with DVYGUN Smart Search.
