    ""Duplicates" are not duplicates!"

    Pros

    Thorough, but only if you purchase the Pro Edition.

    Cons

    Some of the dupes were not dupes at all. Sometimes bytes and/or dates did not match.

    Summary

    A duplicate in my mind is not the same as 'something close". This free edition does not allow you to compare multiple attributes in the same search. After searching C:, I studied the results before deleting any files and found this software had included versions (minor differences) as duplicates! There are simpler, faster, AND MORE ACCURATE duplicate file finders available. I immediately deleted Duplicate File Finder 4.2.1.

    If you have used the Byte By Byte search engine, then there is no chance of ERROR.

    Byte by byte comparison of files checks the contents of the two files character by character (in parallel). This method is 100% accurate.

    Our product is very ACCURATE in finding duplicate files... If think our product does find the correct duplicate files, then you can send us some sample files or screen shot showing the error, and we will do our best to solve your problem as soon as possible.
