Restoring the pc was also not helpful.
When I installed this program and it instantly ate around 15 GB of my disk space! Restoring was also not helpful, now what can I do to get back my 15 GB of space, please advice.... -

Summary
I previously used an older version; then, I tried many company's offerings, and found this to be the best. Now, I've returned, and find it even easier to use. I was very careful to find a product that wouldn't have an accident with my sensitive files (even though I made back-ups) and return false-positives; I also wanted a quick product.

I don't know what the people having trouble with "drive filling" are talking about - this application doesn't "write" anything (except maybe a log). It helps you find files to remove, that's all. As for bogging down your PC... if you try to scan your whole hard drive then yes, it will consume most of the processor and ram trying to do it. Doing that however is not what the product is intended for and will likely end up damaging your PC - some system and program files need to have duplicate copies. This is ONLY for cleaning up file libraries.
Found the "preserve file in this path" in the current version.

I have never had it give me a false duplicate. Helps with keeping my harddisk clean. Very easy to use and run very fast.

Non at this time.

I run it at least once a month to reduce the amount of disk space being used. Great program.

It will fill your hard drive completely if you don't watch it closely. Too much trouble!

Is selective enough and straight forward enough that even a novice can do a good job of cleaning dupes without unintentionally doing a slash and burn job on necessary files.
Cons
Since it always errors on the safe side it takes a little effort to learn the filters before you can get rid of the files you want gone.
