  Version: DriverMax 5.31

  "Good features ... but don't believe recommended updates"

  Pros: As decribed in the review it has goodies for analyzing, cataloging and saving drivers.
  
  But I agree with other users : don't believe suggested "updates".
  My two first dowloads were inadequate so-called "new" versions.

  Cons: - Not fully to be trusted for updating drivers.
  - Trial version very confusing for downloading drivers
  - Trial version too agressive to sell you the Pro version

  Summary: - The trial version is not very convincing and is a bit messy for downloading drivers.
  - Good analysis of existing system
  - Not to be trusted suggestions for "updating" current drivers.
  - One more service starting with Windows and running in the background and eating RAM !? Not really what I want !
  
  We have already enough conficting softwares using Windows.

  EDIT : When downloading drivers, I was never asked where I wanted to store the downloaded file. I don't know where the program stores the file and furthermore when installation starts there I saw a few popup messages which I couldn't even read. They are just appearing in a flash.
  
  Futhermore since "I have NOT PAID" for the PRO version (considered unthinkable !?) I probaly wil have to wait very long time to get some answers from support. I'm tempted to remove one star from my 3-star evaluation, but the given stars are beyond reach of correction..
