"Pretty simple. Free version still does the job."

    July 5, 2014  |   By Rolandloo

    Version: DriverMax 7.34

    Pros

Sure finds updates to drivers. Easy to update.

    Cons

The cons would be on my part. One needs to not blindly just do the update. If it is not broken, think before doing that particular one to update.

    Summary

This tells me that there is a new driver out there. With that info, I can choose if I want to download the driver and than if I want to install her. Even great that the 'free' version works..just takes longer to do.

    "Forget it!"

    July 5, 2014  |   By dolfin2

    Version: DriverMax 7.34

    Pros

    Definitely finds new drivers.

    Cons

While it promised to est up new restore points (which I did request), it removed all restore points and left me with drivers that created far more problems than I'd had before! Sound got loud, then disappeared. Games would freeze for at least 10 secs. frequently, leaving any game requiring speed useless. Really mad I couldn't restore anything. Deleted program! Had to take in for repair for $50.

    Summary

    Don't bother.

    "NOT free..."

    June 29, 2014  |   By kdryan2

    Version: DriverMax 7.34

    Pros

    Easy to use...

    Cons

Wants $20.00 per month to use. Free version makes you wait three minutes for first download, six for the second, then an hour for the third. Complete waste of time.

    Summary

    Don't even bother...

    "Great Product"

    June 20, 2014  |   By perfectitalian

    Version: DriverMax 7.32

    Pros

Being able to keep your PC up to date because even the manufacturers websites of our PC's don't keep the drivers up to date, they only keep the original drivers to get our PC's up & running.

    Cons

The free version servers take forever to load the software so it takes you days to get your PC running good! However to even have this option is outstanding, it's just very time consuming to have to watch your PC in order to get the driver to download & get the next one started. But overall I'm not complaining ITS A PHENOMINAL PRODUCT & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE THAT CARES ABOUT HAVING THEIR PC RUN AT IT"S BEST!!!!

    "pretty good"

    June 18, 2014  |   By escoboly55

    Version: DriverMax 7.32

    Pros

It locates how many driver's and then install's them. It let's you pick which one's to install and to back up the old one's incase the new driver does not work. And you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand the program.

    Cons

It find's a driver, but sometime's not the right one for that device.

    Summary

Overall it's a good driver installer, easy to use and not bad for the price.

    "Ok if you're careful"

    June 18, 2014  |   By jhs39

    Version: DriverMax 7.32

    Pros

This makes it easy to find drivers that can be updated.

    Cons

Sometimes those drivers are not compatible with your computer. DriverMax does a poor job of detecting when a driver is not functioning correctly after instillation.

    Summary

Like all driver update software the user should exercise extreme caution when using this product. Never update more than one driver at a time. Never update a driver without doing a back-up first. I would think twice before updating any drivers relating to your keyboard and mouse--both of mine were knocked out by a DriverMax driver update and it's pretty hard to undo a driver update when you have no keyboard or mouse.
