    "Too much agressive baggage."

    July 22, 2013  |   By sicktard

    Version: DriverHound 2.1.1.7

    Pros

    Nice looking install screen.

    Cons

Without my authorizing I suddenly had music programs (WJAMS) and a new search engine and home page and five malware problems. After cleaning up all of the mess I immediately uninstalled the program. Either this is a scam or someone is piggybacking things onto it. So much CNET recommendations.

    Summary

Another attempt to push off junk with what could be a good product. Maybe. I will not try again.

    "Worst product ever"

    June 26, 2013  |   By cnetsue1111

    Version: DriverHound 2.1.1.7

    Pros

    None None None

    Cons

    Corrupted my internet connection

    Summary

I had to buy a new router, uninstall the program, and use System Restore, and download drivers to even get my laptops to work again, and, I spent hours fixing this on my day off. It kept saying the drivers were unsigned. Nothing got updated, after running for 4 hours.

"Easy to use and seems to work"

    August 1, 2011  |   By naelcam

    Version: DriverHound 2.1.1.7

    Pros

Simple interface. Downloads and installs updates automatically.

    Cons

Usual "pay for full functionality" requirement.

Not all downloaded drivers worked properly.

    Summary

I tried Driver Hound after obtaining a refund from Wise Drivers, which I found to be useless on both my laptop and PC.

It was immediately obvious that Driver Hound is a far superior product. The automatic download and installation of drivers worked seamlessly. only one negative. Driver for "Mobile Intel Express 945 Chipset" failed to work properly on two computers running XP. I had to update them using Windows Device Manager. If it hadn't been for that problem I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.
