What I liked is that it fiormatted like Driver Detective, easy to use and very understandable.

It Just didn'T (BRAND NEW 8 ) plain work. That'n TO not to say that it does work on other computers. I have a HP Compaq Presariom 51110NX Vista Microsoft 8 Operating System and since I installed Microsoft 8 thing jave been a bit strange.

Driver Whiz reported 17 needed updates for my computer. I checked them against mfg and or Windows update and none of them were out of date. I had the latest versions available

The only thing this scans is to find out what model your computer is and then advises updates to drivers that don't work or are the incorrect ones!
Summary
Stay away from ANY of these update programs, they will cause you more grief than you will ever know. I finally had to do a complete system restore to get my computer to work correctly again.

program is a big ripoff.does not work,wont give refund.when i downloaded the program also got downloads not asked for .silverlight,chrome,yahoo toolbar. i also got downloader.rozena,antispy.exe and trojan horse 19.pyp all virises

Had to reformat HD. Successfully scanned my computer and helped me download the correct drivers. I could not find a modem driver before using this.

Summary
It worked flawless for me. Saved me a lot of money! I used it on my Dell Studio laptop. My computer was a mess so I needed to reformat my whole hard drive. The original reinstall disks that came with my laptop where incomplete and did not totally bring my computer up to date. First I used Software Update which updated 91 pieces of software! Unfortunately I had no wifi capability yet. DriverWhiz fixed that along with several other driver updates! Computer works great now.

No support. Refund request within a week of purchase. No replies. Bad company and product. No satisfaction. Stay away from this software. Wasted $39. Initial trial baited me with 24 problems identified. Not one successful repair was made.
Summary
Read all their forms on how to do the driver updates. Removed and reinstalled drivers that did not work. Can not speak to anyone real time. Within a week and many hours of trial, I requested a full refund to support@drivershq.com given by operaters who answer a 1-800 number. They are not employed by driverwhiz company. Stay away from this worthless junk. Just read much more on this @ http://driver-whiz.pissedconsumer.com
