"There appears to be a definite problem with sound drivers."
Version: Driver Magician 3.28
Cons
On three different Panasonic Toughbooks, with multiple configurations, and multiple installations of Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2, the program appeared to backup all of the drivers for the system. When the system was reloaded with a default installation of XPP SP2 and Driver Magician was used to restore the device drivers, the program ran through the restoration and appeared to completly restore the drivers, except for the sound drivers. The only method of restoring the sound drivers was reinstallation with the original drivers.

"A Wonderful little tool!"
Version: Driver Magician 2.6
Pros
Enables you to back up all your system drivers quickly and easilly.
Worked a dream for me.
All drivers all backed up in separate folders
inside a single folder - making it easy to check the backup if you want.
The backup can be burnt to CD easilly.
Perfect if your drivers are difficult to track down!
Cons
None for me - the interface may be too basic for some, but it is easilly understandable

"Great Utility - Highly Recommended"
Version: Driver Magician 2.0
Pros
Installed quickly and easily on XP SP2 - no problems. Great little utility, did exactly what I wanted which was to backup all my drivers before a format/reinstall of windows. Organizes all your drivers into separate folders. Free version gives you basics which was all I needed. Pay and you can get auto update of drivers. Free version gives ability for full driver backup/restore. Even tells you which drivers are packed with windows install and which ones aren't. If your searching for a utilty like this one, look no further.
Cons
No cons at all. Perfect Utility.
