Version: Driver Magician Lite 3.35
"it works and helps for non-OS drivers"
Pros: Backup drivers that do not come included with the operating system. It does just that. Simple.
Cons: i think it is a little lite on function.

Pros: For every computer I set up, I now make a DMLite driver CD and tuck it away for emergencies.

Pros: Seems to be efficient and is easy to use. But such efficiency needs to be verified as soon as it will be necessary to retrieve the saved drivers

Version: Driver Magician Lite 2.6
Pros: Tells you whether a device is already supported by WinXP (and thus needs no driver back up) or not.
Cons: Didn't work for me - after backing up my sound card drivers and then formatting, it couldn't restore it. It said some files were missing. I suppose there is really no way for a program to determine with certainty all the files and registry settings used by a device's drivers.
