"Crap Tech Support"

I used this product several years ago. The instructions were so poorly written or complicated by the time I had figured it out I wrote down my own set of instructrions in order to navigate through them when I needed to re-use the produce. It allows three downloads.
This time I never got past making a boot disc which didn't work even after three start from scratch tries. I call a inept person at Tech Support who said they would kick it upstairs and I'd get a call. I've called daily and even called the general number for the company and have not gotten even one return call.
I asked to speak to the owner - of course that didn't work. I said I would wait on hold and after 15 minutes of cell phone use gave that up.
Finally I said to send a return authorization number and I got the form by email. Its been two days since I submitted the form and even said in the form that I'd prefer that Tech Support help me out. Nothing. No support or return authority.
They sent a return authorization number and I've mailed back the product with all the packaging. Of course they reminded me I'll pay a 15% "restocking" fee which is a joke as they'll "restock" the disc into the trash bin. They sent the return authorization even after I literally begged them three times to have Tech Support call and talk me through the process. I guess its cheaper to give me a discounted refund. Never again with iolo. I'll faint if I get a check.

Updated on Jan 10, 2012It's now been two months since I went through the frustrating attempts at using this product which never worked. Customer support is non-existent. You will be referred to a supervisor who will never call back. My refund request (less a "restocking" fee has yet to appear.
