"Does it's job P E R F E C T L Y"
Version: Drive Folder 7.6
Pros
As any noob will find out, any directory can be seen/accessed as one of your system's drives. This can be done using the command "subst". But won't work with a 2 word name, ie. "My Folder".. This eliminates all issues with it's simple interface.
Cons
None at all.
Summary
As said before, using Subst in a command window can make any directory be treated as one of the system's drives. But with long names you could run into problems using this technique. Drive Folder eliminates any and all issues that could occur as far as I can tell.
Not only does it mount folders as drives it also un-mounts just as simply. It utilizes tiny bat files & keeps everything organized, tidy and controllable within a small space.
It's easier than typing commands manually. Creates the bat files it uses, but you can access them and use them without the program if you enjoy work.
It does what it does well, can fit on easily on a small thumb type drive.
