Version: Download Accelerator Plus 8.1
"SPYWARE ALERT!!"
Pros: I liked what it said it would do.
Cons: SPYWARE ALERT!!!
AOL Spyware caught the most malicious kind of spyware from this software. It tried to get personal private info off my computer.
Also, when I tried to uninstall it wanted to leave some of its files on my computer and made it difficult to uninstall by trying to override my firewall.
It also did not speed up my download time at all.
I highly recommend that you do not download this software!!!

The spyware that I received from this program is a known download manager spyware called "Netzip." Read more about it and how it tracks your exact web surfing and downloading habits by typing "Netzip Spyware" into a search engine. There is legislation in Congress (U. S.) to stop this kind of backdoor spyware.
