Version: Download Accelerator Plus 7.4
"Ugh every new version gets worse"
Pros: This product used to work nicely and the banner ads in the client were bearable.
Cons: This latest version is bloatware. Trying to install this thing cut my whole Internet connection out as it tries to pre-configure itself with your firewall. In addition it does install adware!!! Don't bother with this as you can get the same thing for free from sourceforge, its called truedownloader.

HEY PAL,
I DOWNLOADED THAT GARBAGE "DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR PLUS" AND EVERY TIME I RAN SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY IT DETECTED "DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR PLUS" AS A THREAT AND NOT JUST ONE THREAT. IT LISTED LIKE 6 THREATS NEXT TO IT. SO FINALLY I SAID SCREW IT AND REMOVED IT FROM MY COMPUTER.
qUESTION CAN YOU GIVE ME A HEADS UP ON WHERE I CAN TRY THIS "TRUEDOWMLOADER" BY SOURCEFORGE? iS IT FOUND ON A WEB SITE CALLED "SOURCEFORGE.COM OR SOMETHING.
IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE SHOOT ME AN EMAIL with more info about it TO: RED-BLOOD@cyber-rights.net

The program works fine and I have used it for many years. Don't be a cheap Bastard and buy the program it works.
