"Nothing special over other download accelerators"

Pros
Does its job - it successfully asks the server for more ports to be accessed for downloading.
Cons
Download acccelerators are bad: they use up space for others on the server that is being accessed. Some servers recognize this and block the download. DAP is coupled with adware and spyware. I was not impressed. Try gigaget if you cant live without a download accelerator.

It is loaded with spyware. I received virus n spyware warnings when i loaded it.
Looks like they have hidden files which spread spyware on ur PC when u load this application. Also when u install, they ask if u want a free version or a good version by paying $$. NOt worth it.

nothing that a rational mind can comprehend..

i have tried downloading softwares and all DAP did was to download incomplete ones. yes, it speeds up your downloads, but it still dependent upon the download server wherein your supposed to be download is located. and worst, it indicates that you have completed your download, what you really get are incomplete, useless files, the "remedy": re-download, if it is really a remedy!? especially for large files..
note: unbelievably, the built-in download manager in Firefox 2 is more reliable..
