"could do without the spyware"
Pros: it does speed up downloads
Cons: spyware, spyware, spyware!!! i dont mind the ads, i dont mind the pop-ups (i have software that blocks that) but the spyware?? I cant even use my firewall to block it without blocking DAP as well.
Summary: Its fine if you dont surf on the computer in which you use to do the downloading, otherwise, you might wanna forget about download accelerators. read more

"Great program - I strongly recommend it"
Pros: I've been using DAP Plus for almost 10 years. It does exactly what it says it will do, and does it better than any other download manager. It works great for people stuck with dial-up Internet. And I speak from experience.
Cons: Haven't found any yet
