"Fun but old."

Pros
The game is a classic. The lousy graphics, cheesy sound, and weak a.i. just reek of nostalgia. Admittedly, the lack of 3-d look and tough-to-control interface can be a pain, but it's a fun, fast play and worth a couple of MB and hours.

-lousy graphics (duh- it runs on DOS)

-no 3-d- look (i.e. you can't move your gun up and down)

This game is fun to play and will have you hooked in minutes if you like first person shooters. The game will scare the crap out of you if you fear demonic creatures! Plays extremely smoothly.
Cons
It does lag online if you are in a game with over 15 people. Requires DirectX 8.0
or higher. Too short of a game.

This game can not be better than Doom 95. If you are really looking for some action in a top-noch system, get a demo of Doom 3 when it come out. Don't downlaod. Like i said in the Doom 95 reader reveiw. If yu have a out dated system, this is for you.
