    Version: Doom 3 demo

    "great"

    Pros: i played it on my computer with slightly lower specs and it played fine

    very intense

    has awsome graphics

    an id software game

    much like quake4 becauase the share the engine

    smooth game play

    Cons: very dark

    hides some graphic flaws

    but it is on mars

    so its supposed to be dark

    Will someone please let those designers know that just making things dark is not scary. Go back and look at Unreal, Halflife, Serious Sam, Far Cry. It's ok to be bright and clear; things can get pretty exciting without the darkness, flashing fluorescents and smoky steam. Dark is usually just frustrating and combined with the high video demand the whole game just becomes annoying. Thank goodness the flashlight never runs out of juice. M.
