Version: Dog Food Recipes 2
"Lots of good doggie recipes."
Pros: Recipes look great. Raise Chihuahuas and have problems finding small treats and afraid of bad dog food since recent tainting recalls.
Cons: Also had problems getting this one to work on Vista. Suddenly it came to life, don't know why.
Summary: I have been looking for a good dog food recipe book. We raise Chihuahuas and I feel they need better food. I would like to make nutritious food to give along with the dog food we now use. The only thing we have found small enough for them is puppy food and I don't know if that is sufficient for grown dogs. We are expecting 3 litters this month. So far we have been lucky in having beautiful and healthy puppies but we get so attached it is hard to sell them. Puppy food for 8 adult dogs and a bunch of growing puppies gets expensive. The price of this book certainly fit my "inexpensive" requirement and the recipes I have looked at don't seem to require any expensive ingredients, just mostly common everyday ingredients I have in the kitchen. Thank you very much. A great Christmas gift for me.
