You are correct. It doesn't work with Entourage when network errors occur. I REALLY hope this gets fixed. This is hands-down my favorite little haxie. I've been checking the unsanity site for weeks now waiting for the Panther version to cure my Entourage-enduced rage. -

Very disappointed. I've waited for a Panther version of Dock Detox to once again stop that annoying Entourage icon from bouncing. This new version may work on other apps, but not the one I really want. I'm running 10.3.2 on an 800 MHz iMac with version 1.4.1 of APE. I sent a question directly to Unsanity on 4-8-04 with no response yet. I remain hopeful. -

"Not Compatible with Panther"

Summary
Don't install this if you use Panther. It will cause the finder to crash continuously. I had to login as root and remove the files this installs to fix the problem.
