Version: DivX Play Bundle with DivX Player 6.1
"The codec is great, but no one needs the player."
Pros: Its free.
The codec is the LEGAL kind of Mpeg 4 codec.
It works with all DivX videos and video players...Windows Media Player 8/9/10 included.
Cons: The DivX player is an unnecessary piece of junk, since Windows Media Player plays all DivX movies and is already installed on Windows machines. It just makes the download have a bigger size...bah!!!
By default it has the DivX watermark show up in the bottom right of movies. You have to turn it off...an option which takes some time to find.

Version: DivX Play Bundle with DivX Player 6.1
Pros: nothing to complain about hi quality of this player . Otherwise is essential software considering that a big number of vidoe is DivX , especially on filesharin' programs . So you'll need it if u want to download videos .
Cons: My experience is not so positive : i find it little heavy & above all i don't like its .dll file in my system 32 . I think it's not WINDOWS XP big friend...not so rarely fails in readin' video files & i'm gettin' convinced is not compleyely compatible with OS , much more convinced since i tried to remove that .dll file & my OS becomes more stable . Anyway i newly re-install it : is the best DivX player on market & i can't do without .

Version: DivX Play Bundle with DivX Player 6.1
Pros: 1.plays some file which neither of the big three....WMP,Realplayer,Quicktime can play on their own.
2.Nice GUI,controls and better customisation of the player according to one's needs.
3.There's a feature called 'playback' which enables you to playback a particular length of a movie again with ease.
Cons: 1.minor one-takes more time to load.

"Unfortunately With Spyware And Adware"
Pros: Installs and uninstalls easy. Works good.
Cons: As you can reed in the license agreement DivX Play contains spyware and adware. Therefore I uninstalled it from my computer after a antispyware program pointed out a file from DivX Play, with only codecs 6.1 installed on my computer, as suspicious.
