"Buggy: Crashes"

Crashes repeatedly on my 10.4.11-running iBook with all the updates.
Not useful, as such. -
"Okay, but not great"
Version: DiskAid 3.12
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
First, how come there is no change log anywhere for what's changed in 3.12?
The program is basically good, but could be better if the interface were more "finder like". You cannot select multiple items to drag/drop, for example. It should also provide a search function to look for certain files by name.
Otherwise, a good program. Worth the $10 for it's ease at accessing files on the iPhone. -
"Not exactly what you want it to be..."
Version: DiskAid 3.11
Pros
Technically, it does what it says it does. You can access the system folders on your iPod Touch and move data to and from you're computer. Essentiall using you iTouch as a USB flash drive.
Cons
Non of the data you transfer however is usable from the iPod - pretty much defeating the purpose of downloading this software (well, for me anyway).
Summary
I can see how this may come in handy for someone who want's to limit their having to carry multiple storage devices around - using their iPod as a USB drive. But I must say I'm a bit dissapointed with not having the ability to access any of this from within the ipod. Having to Sync my entire library to the device is tedious at best and I was hoping this software would allow that for things such as say; dumping one photo or music album at a time, or an ebook for use on a bus trip - or something. But no. It does what my 10 other flash drives can do without software.
Have relised now that this works in combination with FileAid app from iTunes... good for .pdf and other text files. Add one star.
