"It is what you need to create CD label in minutes"
Version: Disc Cover 2.3.2
Pros
It seems on the first impact a little confusing and moderately powerful; just few hours of work and you discover that this is an excellent tool ready to solve most of you creating and printing your CD/DVD label needs.
Cons
Some functions related to import/use saved pictures may need some refinements.
Summary
Lot of clip-arts, backgrounds, templates for any theme, considerably powerful graphic tools integrated in a dedicated program like this one.

"Free trial won't open once installed"
Version: Disc Cover 2.2.1
Pros
None, the free trial won't open. Guess I'll spend my money on another company's app.
Cons
I'm looking for a good cd cover app, and I downloaded this with the thought that if it looked good I would buy it asap. Well, you can download the free trial but it won't open, and I cannot find it anywhere on my Mac.
Summary
I'm not going to spend $34.95 on a product I cannot test out. FAIL

"Seems To Work Great..."
Version: Disc Cover 1.5.1
Summary

Hi There,
I am just trying/DEMO this program so far, but it seems to do a better job with LightScribe disks than most, and even the software that comes with my LightScribe DVD drive.
For what it's worth..
try it..
Happy New Year!!
Warning: It does leave a watermark with the demo, via LightScribe.. -
"Much better than Disclabel"
Version: Disc Cover 1.2.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I was a long-time Disclabel user but got increasingly fed up with being asked to upgrade every 6-12 months (at $15/pop). I decided to try something different, and came across Disc Cover. MUCH better. More intuitive user interface, MANY more templates (Disclabel wants to charge you for theirs), and even a pdf manual! I don't feel like I'm being nickel and dimed, as I was with Disclabel. I've had nothing but great customer service when I've had a question, and they seem to put out regular (and so far, free) updates. I'm very pleased with Disc Cover, and only sad I wasted so much money on Disclabel. -
"Deplorable customer service. Takes days to get this..."

...product licensed and unlocked

I downloaded and tested this product, then paid $$ via RegSoft to license it. I got a confirmation from RegSoft two days ago and am still waiting, waiting, waiting for Belight to send me the license code. Meanwhile, disc labels I designed with the trial version can't be printed until I get the license code (to remove the big "Trial" that the trial version of the program superimposes. Sorry, but in this day and age, waiting 48 hours to get a license code emailed to you (AFTER your credit card is charged) is NOT acceptable customer service. This should be automatically generated when they are notified by RegSoft (a process that took about 5 minutes). I sent email to Belight support yesterday, and filled out their web-based support form today. No answer, no acknowledgement. Nice software, but don't count on these people for even minimal customer support. -
"Great For The Less Experienced Among Us"
Version: Disc Cover 1.0.8
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I am aware that if you really feel like it, you could create templates on Photo Shop which would allow you to design CD and DVD covers with relative ease, but , as someone with very little computer design and manipulation experience, I was very happy to discover this program. I tried out the free Demo, which works absolutely fine, but quickly decided to invest in the license, because I was so happy with the ease-of-use and results. For those others of you who love music and making your own mixes, but just can't be bothered to spend hours and hours and hours doing everything from scratch, this is a great little program to help you along. Although it's a tad expensive, I am a very happy little cd maker tonight. -
"Best one by far"
Version: Disc Cover 1.0.2
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Of the three programs that I tried (Discus, Disc Cover, and DiscLabel), this program has the best look and feel of all the programs. It is very intuitive to use, very easy and fun! The web download only offers 900 images, but the CD purchse offers 23,000+ images! I think that the rotating text manipulation is the best by far of all the 3 programs. Usng the inspector tab (similar to Pages, Keynote, etc) is very straight forward. The iLife integration is implemented very nicely and I love the web search for images! The may not be the most robust (featurewise) of the three, but for a version 1.X, it shows the most promise! -
"Very Nice! Speedy, OS X 'feel' and good integration..."
Version: Disc Cover 1.0.2
Summary
...with iApps
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I downloaded a trial version of Disc Cover and am quite impressed.
Interface 'feels' nice. Good integration with iApps and -feels- very OS X.. Pages-like inspector etc etc.
only minus so far is the 'wizzard' on startup, which should be a -choice- (start with/without wizzard) and (imo) is more a thing of 'the other' platform..
