There is no trial. If you don't buy it, it won't uninstall Directx.
That's almost certainly what you wanted to do with it. Calling it shareware, or try-before-you-buy or anything else except paid commercial software is just dishonest.Summary
If you don't buy it, it's a waste of time. No way to tell if it works or not until/unless you pay. CNet should pull it from download.com because it's commercial software.

It had good poteitial from its own ads, i never gave it much of a chance. it had a nice logo and icon

they wanted $20 for it I dont need sometihng like this , let alone have to pay that much for it.
Summary
It cost and it isnt necessary for me to manage what they claimed i must do . i can handle direct x very easily , the program made it seem as if it was going to perform all kinds of secret hard work and only charge me twenty bucks. i do what i need and it isnt very complicated . i dont need it, not yet.

Direct X is a necessary driver used for playing games. So if you uninstall Direct X you would have to reinstall Direct X to play games. Direct X can be downloaded from microsoft.com .

If you uninstall direct x from your computer you will not be able to play a lot of games. So you would have to reinstall direct x so I see no reason to uninstall direct x.

Games basically will not work after. Slows start-up time. What is the purpose? Direct-x is a good thing.
